One Animation Names New Hires From Hasbro, Amazon

Two executives are joining the One Animation digital team from Hasbro and Amazon, respectively.
Kelly Joeman, previously channel manager at eOne/Hasbro, was named senior manager, audience development at One Animation. Prior to joining Hasbro, she worked at YouTube agency Diagonal View, building channels for clients across the U.S., France, and Singapore — including One Animation’s Oddbods channel. She will report to SVP of content distribution, Michele Schofield.
In her new role, Joeman will be responsible for amplifying the studio’s digital presence and driving growth of its 2o kids targeted channels, across brands Oddbods, Antiks, Insectibles, and Rob the Robot, among others.
Aditionally, she will be supported by manager of audience development, Glen Chittur, who brings audience development experience from prior roles at HooplaKidz MCN, BBTV Professional Services, YoBoHo, and BabyFirst TV Network.
Meanwhile, One Animation appointed Tuan Nguyen as e-commerce manager; Nguyen most recently served as manager and EU expansion management at Amazon. Before that, he was the merchandising manager for Lotte e-commerce. He will lead the studio’s direct-to-consumer e-commerce business, while reporting to VP of digital and e-commerce, Amir Biran.
Both Joeman and Nguyen are based out of One Animation’s Singapore office.
“We’re committed to putting our fans at the center of everything we do and an integral part is ensuring we’re delivering a robust digital presence, across both merchandise and content,” said One Animation CEO Sashim Parmanand. “We know that Tuan will play a pivotal role as we drive forward our e-commerce and omni-channel retail solutions, while Kelly’s expertise will be key as we build and capitalize on the success of Oddbods’ vast digital presence and our wider YouTube network. These new hires really add significant firepower to our digital team and we’re looking forward to working closely with Tuan and Kelly as we take our online offering to the next level.”
