Netflix Strikes Anime Deal With Nippon TV for 13 Titles
Nippon TV (NTV) and Netflix have signed a deal to add 13 of the Japanese broadcaster’s anime titles to the platform. The first three titles of this new-to-Netflix content will be available in over 100 countries and territories starting September 1, 2022.
The first three titles to stream debut Sept. 1, and include Ouran High School Host Club, Claymore and the first 38 episodes of Hunter X Hunter. The other titles included are Death Note, Death Note: Relight 1 and Death Note: Relight 2, From Me to You, From Me to You S2, Berserk, Parasyte: The Maxim, Nana, Hajime No Ippo: The Fighting! and Monster.
The non-exclusive agreement is the latest in a series of deals between Netflix and Nippon TV. Previously, the streamer launched Nippon’s Old Enough! to stream worldwide.

Death Note – (37 episodes x 30 minutes)
Death Note: Relight 1 -(130 minutes) in 14 countries
Death Note: Relight 2 – (120 minutes) in 14 countries
From Me to You – (25 eps. x 30 minutes)
From Me to You Season 2 – (13 episodes x 30 minutes)
Berserk – (25 episodes x 30 minutes)
Parasyte – The Maxim – (24 episodes x 30 minutes)
Nana – (47 episodes x 30 minutes)
Hajime no Ippo – The Fighting!: (76 episodes x 30 minutes)
Monster – (74 episodes x 30 minutes)
