MEDIAWAN RIGHTS ACCELERATES ITS DEVELOPMENT IN THE DISTRIBUTION OF UNSCRIPTED PROGRAMS
The Mediawan Rights team is expanding and welcomes Jeremy Klif as Deputy Director of International Sales, Unscripted. Since the launch of the department, several sales and acquisition negotiations have been finalized.
Reporting to Valérie Vleeschhouwer, Managing Director of Mediawan Rights, Jeremy Klif* joins Estelle Bodén, Director of International Sales, Unscripted. Jeremy will strengthen the team by working alongside Estelle in developing the unscripted distribution department within Mediawan Rights.
The team has already finalized several significant sales from its Mediawan Group catalog. Time Hotel (Ardimages and 3e Œil Productions) is sold everywhere in the world. The rights have been acquired by a major US studio for the US and significant territories, by Blue Engine for the Middle East and sold to Canada. It has already been optioned by several territories where Mediawan is located (Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, Finland and Germany). As for Kids buy a house (Skyhigh TV), it has been sold in Belgium and in Germany.
In addition to its sales activity, the department will acquire formats from third-party producers. The team is proud to announce the first one, Slice of life (SLOL AB), a Swedish show created by Björn Ulvaeus, one of the members of the iconic group ABBA. The first two seasons have been very successful in Sweden on TV4 and a third one is in production.
The Mediawan Rights unscripted team will be present at MIPCOM (booth P3.B38) with other strong programs of the Mediawan group such as: Last Family Standing season 2 (Skyhigh TV),
Euforia season 2 (Veranda) and Stars at home (Réservoir Prod).
*Jeremy Klif began his career in the United States with Mark Burnett Productions within its international distribution. Upon his return to France, he became Head of Sales and Acquisitions for Shine France (The Voice, MasterChef, The Island…), before founding Borderline Media in 2017, a company that creates and distributes original formats for the French and international markets and produces digital content. In 2022, Jeremy joined Mediawan Rights.

Slice of life (Mastiff / Sweden / TV4) is a culinary time-machine which will unlock forgotten memories. In advance of the dinner, the show delved deep into the food of the celebrity’s life. However, they won’t know what’s cooking. The conversation is woven with archives, photos and musics from their lives creating an intimate and unique biography.
Last Family Standing (Skyhigh TV / Mediawan / The Netherlands / NPO3): Reality competition series in which four families are separately taking on a survival challenge in the wild. Which of these four families is the toughest and will perform best on the survival assignments?
Euforia (Veranda / Mediawan / Spain / TV3): Singing competition in search of the best voices in Catalonia – singers with the best solo voice and the best backup vocals.
Stars at home (Réservoir Prod / Mediawan / France / TF1): Entertainment show full of surprises in which celebrities are invited to the home of one of their unsuspecting fans with the secret support of friends and relatives.
