GIC’24 Introduces Early Bird Tickets

Accessibility, inclusiveness, and openness as guiding principles for the event

The highly anticipated Game Industry Conference (GIC) is thrilled to announce its 18th edition, set to take place in the vibrant city of Poznań, Poland, from October 24th to 27th. GIC has solidified its position as one of Europe’s premier gaming B2B and developer conferences and aims for this year to be bigger than ever before with up to 4000 expected attendees. Traditionally, the GIC happens parallel to the Poznan Game Arena, the largest gaming and multimedia entertainment fair in this part of Europe.

Early bird tickets for GIC are on sale now at gic.gd/tickets

The GIC firmly believes in the importance of accessibility and openness within the industry and therefore the conference offers several tiers of access. The early bird tickets are the best way to get your way into the conference for the best price. The Geek Careers Pass is available for free for everyone who attends Poznan Game Arena and allows taking part in all open lectures. The least expensive dedicated ticket to attend the conference, the Indie Pass, was reduced in price again after cutting its price already in 2023 and is available for ~110 Euro to give the smallest dev teams access to almost all summits, lectures, workshops, roundtables, and even the sightseeing tour and daycare for children.

“You must bring together recruiting companies and people looking to work to create a good recruitment event. Availability helps people to attend. Geek Careers Pass is almost free, and we see people coming even just for Saturday. Companies want candidates above junior grade. GIC attracts them by having good talks, dense in knowledge and experience sharing, we believe we have one of the best on the market, and with that the biggest careers expo in Europe.”  – says Jakub Marszalkowski, main organizer of the GIC.

The Premium Pass for ~180 Euro adds access to conference lunches on top and the Business Pass (~360 Euro) to the business meetings system & zone while the Business Pass Plus (~590 Euro) adds a Basic B2B booth, an equivalent of a private meeting table, with branding for the best visibility and efficiency of bizdev of your company.

As the newest addition of GIC’24, a VIP ticket for the GIC has been announced at the standard price of ~807 Euro (the early bird price is ~680 Euro). This is the first revealed ticket for GIC 2024. The ticket is expected to include everything the Business Pass has included so far, plus a choice of events from special VIP attractions.

Attendees with a VIP package will be able to take full advantage of the event’s additional special program.

A wide range of activities will be available to them, including exclusive side events, VIP tours, and sightseeing, as well as exclusive meetings and networking sessions.

“A VIP program already existed at the GIC in previous years, but it was on a smaller scale, and was private or closed, now we are expanding this, institutionalizing it, and opening it a bit up by selling special tickets. Of course, in January, ten months before the conference, this program is still being built, we are getting partners to co-organize, but the first elements are already there. We’re planning a strong impact there; this is to help us compete for speakers from overseas with conferences located over warm seas.” – says Hanna Marszalkowska of the GIC team.
