ED TO HANDLE INTERNATIONAL DISTRIBUTION OF 16 HOURS OF LABEL NEWS ORIGINAL PRODUCTIONS ON ANCIENT EGYPT

Leading French documentary indie producer and distributor ZED (Manuel Catteau), has entered into an agreement with Label News, covering recent selected programs and some
forthcoming productions on ancient Egypt.
Under the terms of the deal, ZED will handle international distribution of 16 hours of Label News’ new productions. The first programs concerned include:
The upcoming ANCIENT EGYPT: TOP 7 PYRAMIDS. Produced for RMC Découverte and Toute l’Histoire, and directed by Martin Beraud, this standalone offers an overview of the largest stone giants, unveiling their construction secrets and origins. This 52’ and 75’ will be completed by July 2022.
CLEOPATRA’S SECRET TOMB
A 4×52’ series that investigates the last days of Queen Cleopatra through field excavations, 3D modeling and dramatizations, plunging viewers into the most fascinating period of ancientEgypt as experts close in on the mysterious location of her tomb.Directed by Anne-Fleur Delaistre and Julien Balestier, the series is produced for C8 and Planète+, and scheduled for Spring 2023.
CLEOPATRA: THE MYSTERY OF THE MUMMIFIED HAND
A 52’ & 70’ that follows an international team of experts’ investigation using the latest forensic technology to determine if a well-preserved hand, hidden in a private collection for centuries, belonged to the mummy of the legendary Cleopatra.Directed by François Pomès, the film is produced for RMC Découverte and Toute l’Histoire and will be delivered by the end of 2022.
TUTANKHAMUN: THE UNTOLD DISCOVERY
A 52’ & 70’ that revisits 100 years after, the discovery of Pharaoh Tutankhamun’s tomb and its continuing impact today, through new research and 3D imagery. Directed by Estelle Walton, it is produced for RMC Découverte and Toute l’Histoire, and will be completed by fall 2022.
INSIDE PYRAMIDS
This 6×52’ series will follow a team of scientists as they scan the interior of pyramids to reveal what’s hidden inside, using a new technology of miniaturized 3D scans.Produced for RMC Découverte and Toute l’Histoire, it is slated for completion for early 2023.
