ACM SIGGRAPH ANNOUNCES COLOMBIAN ANDRES BURBANO AS CHAIR OF ITS 51ST ANNUAL CONFERENCE

Andres Burbano, of Universidad de los Andes, has been selected as chair of the 51st annual SIGGRAPH conference by leadership within ACM SIGGRAPH. Burbano is a native of Pasto, Colombia and an associate professor in Universidad de los Andes’s School of Architecture and Design, where he has been on faculty since 2013.
SIGGRAPH 2022 SUBMISSIONS OPEN
SIGGRAPH 2022 will take place 8–11 August, both in person in Vancouver and online, and has over 25 programs for professionals to submit to. If you’d like to share an upcoming deadline with your readers, here are a few highlights: Art Gallery, Immersive Pavilion, VR Theater, and Emerging Technologies (22 February); Electronic Theater (22 March); Real-Time Live! (5 April); and, Posters (26 April).
