The 23rd “DigiCon6 ASIA Awards” in HK

The extension-activity of the 23rd “DigiCon6 ASIA Awards”, “DigiCon6 Hong Kong Award Ceremony” and “Screening of DigiCon6 Elections Winning in Hong Kong and Asia”, now it’s open to sign up for animation’s annual event

Organized by Tokyo Broadcasting System Holdings, Inc. (TBS Japan), the “DigiCon6 ASIA Awards” is an annual prestigious digital content competition in Asia. It welcomes the participation of aspiring and talented creators throughout Asia and regional contests are organized in various Asian regions. The winners in each regional contest are eligible to further compete for the GRAND Awards.

Hong Kong Digital Entertainment Association (HKDEA) has been co-organizing Hong Kong’s regional contest of the “DigiCon6 ASIA Awards” (DigiCon6 ASIA Awards – Hong Kong) for years, with a view to identifying and supporting the potential creative talents in Hong Kong by promoting and giving recognition to their creative digital contents. Over the years, a number of winners in Hong Kong’s regional contest have attained further recognition in DigiCon6 ASIA Awards” by winning various GRAND Awards in Japan.

“DigiCon6 ASIA Awards” is an excellent platform for Hong Kong talents to get recognition for their creative excellence, to learn from their counterparts and the prestigious Asian masters and judges by networking and exchanging with the creative talents of other Asian regions.

This year, works from 13 Asian regions including Hong Kong will be screened, which has high recognition in Asia. Under the sponsorship of Creative Hong Kong in HKSAR, the Hong Kong Digital Entertainment Association organised the Competition of the 23rd DigiCon6 ASIA in Hong Kong (DigiCon6 Hong Kong Competition).  And the wo extended activities, “DigiCon6 Hong Kong Award Ceremony” and “Screening of DigiCon6 Elections Winning in Hong Kong and Asia” will be held online on 7 May.

“DigiCon6 Hong Kong Award Ceremony” will reward the Gold, Silver and Next Generation Awards to recognize the outstanding animation works in Hong Kong.  International jury and industry experts were invited to comment on the winning entries.

Some of the rewarded works will be screened. Directors and producers will be invited to share their creative ideas and production experience.
