History
Our team (VoltekPlay) made an indie game for a Brackeys Game Jam 2025.1 at February 23.
It features simple gameplay that involves choosing a baby that matches the visual traits of two
pictured parents with a little bit of «Papers, Please» authoritarian styling to boot. Then our game was stolen, went viral on TikTok under a fake name and climbed to #1 in the App Store, netting an estimated US $40–60k before takedown.
But we fought back, learned lessons, and now turning this chaos into something bigger!
Now we have approved page on Steam with 11,000+ wishlists, Google Play page with 25k+ downloads and Apple Store page with 76k+ downloads! And we’re keep working on this game and making it even better.
Finally, we excited to share that Ministry of Order will be part of the Women-Led Games Showcase Summer Game Fest Edition (7 June 2025, 10:00 PT)
Description
Ministry of Order is a narrative logic-puzzler where you reunite newborns with the right
parents inside a 1920s-era totalitarian maternity ward, while a branching conspiracy threatens your survival.
Key Features
- Match Newborns
Match newborns to their parents using eye-colour and blood-type clues. Accuracy buys food, mistakes earn state penalties.
- Shape the Story
Befriend, oppose, or romance colleagues while the dialogue system remembers every choice and rewrites tomorrow’s headlines.
- Face the Consequences
Multiple endings range from quiet survival to full-scale revolution, depending on how you bend (or break) the regime’s rules.
- Survive … or Thrive
Stretch a modest salary, spy for secret factions, double-cross friends, or feed the flame of rebellion. The future of New Albion is yours to decide.
