Infinite Lagrange Reveals Full Revamp For Faster and More Tactical Space Battles

Infinite Lagrange is set to undergo a full revamp for faster and more tactical space battles this June. With the theme “A New Chapter of Lagrange Network Begins,” the game’s strategic features, including Org Command, Personal Combat, and Personal Development, will be improved over time. Updates are also in store for Warp Drive to provide a more diverse strategic gameplay experience at a faster pace. Players can look forward to an enhanced gaming experience that promises to take space battles to a whole new level. Get ready for exciting new content and game mechanics as Infinite Lagrange enters a new era of strategic gameplay.

1

Optimized Warp Mechanics For Faster Rally Operations & More Flexible Org Commands

The adjustments to the Org Operation Area mechanics are one of the most crucial updates in this expansion. The feature is now comprised of [Command Operations] and [Rally Operations]. Orgs can choose different types of Operations based on their strategic goals to employ tactics more flexibly and efficiently.

[Rally Operations] emphasize quick reinforcements. When a Rally Operation Area consists of a certain number of fleets from the Org, the entire Org can access the warp coordinates of this area, allowing Org members’ fleets to warp to the operation area quickly.

This improvement also enhances the pacing of the combat significantly. Warp Drive allows ships to move at five times their normal speed without being disturbed, making it a fast and efficient tool for supporting offensive or defensive operations. There’s already a variety of tactical options in a large Org Operation Area, but adding Warp Drive to the mix will add greater depth to the strategy. Be prepare for a thrilling strategic experience in the new expansion!

[Command Operations] emphasize centralized commands. Org members can assign their fleets to the Org Operation Area to give the Org Commander centralized control over them. Unlike the original Delegate mechanics, the new Command Operations allow Org members to deposit Action Points when assigning their fleets, and the Commander will be able to use these Action Points. The assigned fleets can also execute major commands such as Transfer, Blockade, and Guard. In addition, the Commander can even send these fleets to the operation areas of other Explorers or Orgs.

It takes work for multiple Explorers to communicate and collaborate with each other. In contrast, it’s much easier to ensure unity and timely actions when executing tactical plans when only one person is in charge. The centralized controls over Action Points and various map commands brought by the new mechanics make it possible for Commanders to make more complicated plans and implement unpredictable tactics that constantly evolve around the situation. By being able to dispatch fleets to other operation areas, Commanders can also make use of overlapping and nearby operations for Org Operations to reduce Action Points consumption. From Org members’ personal perspective, this feature allows them to contribute to their Org by assigning a fleet even if they don’t have the time to participate in the operation itself.

New Action and Deployment Mechanics, More Flexible and Streamlined Combat

In addition to the improvements to the Org Command for collective actions, Explorers’ daily operations and combat has also been overhauled. The new [Squadron] and [Multi-Node Warp] features increase the strategic depth of combat strategies and give Explorers more options to adjust to different situations.

The [Squadron] feature allows Explorers to deploy squadrons in buildings and carry out operations as their home port. Not only will ships in squadrons not take up the base’s max Command Points and hangar capacity, but moored squadrons will also counterattack when the buildings are under attack. The Squadron feature will allow Explorers to form and match fleets more flexibly and provide more strategic options when defending their bases or buildings.

3

[Multi-Node Warp] refers to long-distance travel via warping between multiple nodes. This feature will significantly simplify the process of Warp Drive travel by allowing fleets to pre-set transit nodes en route to the destination and spend the required Action Points in one go.

4

Improved Mining and Ship Production

Faster and More Efficient Personal Development

All strategic actions, such as Org Commands, fleet deployments, and combat, will consume resources and require higher levels of base construction. The strategic gameplay in the new expansion also improves and adjusts Explorers’ personal development mechanics, including the removal of restrictions on the scale of resource node mining and adding the shipyard pre-selection feature to allow more streamlined logistics operations.

The removal of restrictions on the scale of resource node mining means that Explorers can send any number of Utility Ships to mine at the same resource node.

5

In the past, only one Utility Ship could be dispatched to mine at each resource node, which meant that the efficiency of resource collection could be greatly affected if an Explorer was randomly assigned to an area with poor resource distribution and no readily available new resource nodes. Now that this restriction has been removed, Explorers can send multiple Utility Ships to mine at the same resource node to obtain resources more efficiently and develop more rapidly. This new mechanic also means that the number of operations and Action Points required for mining will also be reduced accordingly, giving Explorers opportunities to carry out more operations. The new [Utility Ship Management] feature ties in well with the new mechanics because Explorers will be able to mobilize Utility Ships more conveniently. How Utility Ships are being used will also become clearer at a glance.

The [Shipyard Pre-selection Feature] refers to the improvements made to shipyard production. This feature allows Explorers to pre-select ships of varying models and add them to the queue when producing ships in the shipyard, but resources will not be deducted in advance.

6

In the past, Explorers could only add ships of the same type when choosing ships to produce in advance, which meant that it would be necessary to keep using production operations to build a fleet consisting of different types of ships. The new mechanics allow Explorers to produce various types of ships more flexibly according to actual needs and build a powerful fleet to cope with the constantly changing battlefield.

Overall, most of the updates are quality-of-life changes that cater to Explorers’ needs and will certainly improve the game experience. The improvement to the Warp feature of Org Operations is something many Explorers have been asking for and looking forward to, bringing endless possibilities, greater strategic depth, and fast-paced combat to the picture. On the other hand, the Squadron and Multi-Node Warp features, as well as the adjustments to resource mining and ship production mechanics, further improves the gameplay by increasing the flexibility and diversity for deploy tactics. It’s time to invite your friends, rally your allies, and start exploring these features and changes to stay ahead of the curve!
