Guangzhou Business College and CGGE Initiate Strategic Cooperation in Artificial Intelligence
——Creating a New Benchmark for International Industry-Academia-Research Collaboration
On April 15, 2025, the School of Art and Design of Guangzhou Business College welcomed the core team of CG Global Entertainment for their second visit. Led by the founder and chairman, Mr. Raymond Neoh, along with Vice President Sean Xiao, Partner Wen Yuxing, and Regional Director Cloudy Pan, they were accompanied by the dean of the School of Art and Design, Mr. Lin Yuyuan, and the vice dean, Mr. Lai Weicheng. They discussed in-depth cooperation intentions regarding the all-round integration of artificial intelligence and digital creativity in education, research, and industry, as well as the 2025 International Artificial Intelligence and Creativity Conference (IAICC).

During their first meeting on March 27, 2025, both sides reached a cooperation agreement on the international cutting-edge technology trends in the digital creativity industry, the innovation of art and design disciplines, and the establishment of practical training bases. This return visit further advanced the strategic cooperation on AI innovation courses and high-standard international industry conference activities. Under the guidance of Vice Dean Lai Weicheng, the CGGE team conducted an in-depth inspection of the campus facilities and highly praised the international high-standard facilities of the lecture halls, libraries, practical training laboratories, and digital creativity teaching spaces of Guangzhou Business College, which are filled with humanistic art and modern technology.

Mr. Neoh shared his latest insights on the future development trends of the industry from a global perspective during the meeting and stated, “AI technology brings both challenges and new opportunities to the digital media industry. The cultivation of talents with cutting-edge technical capabilities is crucial for China’s digital economy and the competitiveness of enterprises. Universities, through educational curriculum innovation, industry-university-research cooperation, and in-depth participation in international industry conferences and competitions, will play a significant role in fostering leading talents at the forefront of the industry. CGGE independently developed the full-process technical standards for computer digital animation and built a digital content creation platform by leveraging global open-source AI model resources. It focuses on the original animation films, short dramas, digital virtual humans, and the industrialization operation of animation characters and IPs. The leaders and teachers of Guangzhou Business College have industry foresight and innovation capabilities. CGGE will host the International Artificial Intelligence and Creativity Conference (IAICC), inviting leading experts in AI technology and creativity from home and abroad to participate in the summit forum. We look forward to deepening cooperation with Guangzhou Business College to jointly enhance the global influence of China’s AI digital content industry!”
President Lin Yuyuan expounded on the profound significance of the joint event of the International AI Creativity Conference (IAICC) held by enterprises and universities in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area from the perspective of educational philosophy: “IAICC will adhere to the core concept of ‘Empowering Art with Technology and Leading Innovation with Humanities’. We look forward to exploring a new paradigm for art education in the era of artificial intelligence through this platform, and making technology truly serve the enhancement of human creativity.”

Vice President Lai Weicheng shared a feasibility study report on “the targeted talent cultivation program” with the enterprise side. This report, based on the outcomes of the first meeting, systematically argued the technical path and implementation plan for jointly building an AI digital content research and development center, providing a solid theoretical foundation for subsequent cooperation.
Both sides initiated a comprehensive strategic partnership. Guangzhou Business College leverages its advantages in higher education and artistic creativity, while CGGE, with its self-developed and open-source software industry ecosystem breakthroughs, injects new vitality into the construction of an international science and technology innovation center in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. This collaboration aims to create a global model for innovative cooperation between schools and enterprises in the field of AI art education.
