CANNESERIES is expanding its professional component with CANNESERIES INDUSTRY

Following on from the success of its first professional events, the CANNESERIES Festival is developing this Season, under the banner of CANNESERIES Industry , a group of 6 clubs around the professions of the serial industry : screenwriters, producers, of fiction as well as documentary series, broadcasters, music composers, technicians, casting directors, students.

During Season 8 of CANNESERIES, which will take place from April 24 to 29, 2025 , each club, whose participants will be selected by the Festival, will allow professionals from each of the professions to meet, over 1 or 2 days, in a studious but relaxed atmosphere. The days will be structured around relevant themes and panels in limited numbers in order to allow real meeting times between the participants of the club and with those of other clubs.

These professional meetings are designed by our teams as “boutique” events with a tailor-made program and a limited number of international participants . We are convinced that professionals today favor the quality of exchanges over their quantity. Thus, providing them with a privileged setting within the Festival, with an adapted schedule, will allow them to respond to very concrete issues on the one hand and to better understand the challenges of other professions in the chain on the other hand. These meetings aim to create links and excitement between participants who often have solitary professions, to accentuate their 360-degree knowledge of the production chain and to create new opportunities for everyone, with why not the beginnings of stories that will be written at CANNESERIES!

We also wish to cultivate a transversal approach , by integrating participants from our Official Selection into our professional events and by allowing accredited professionals to attend screenings of the series in competition, the Ceremonies and the Festival evenings.

Accreditations for CANNESERIES Industry will open on Monday, December 2.
