Backed By Backers Steam Festival
Crytivo is proud to announce Backed by Backers, a curated Steam Festival celebrating the power of crowdfunding and the communities behind today’s most passionate game projects. Supported by Kickstarter, the event will take place on April 14, 2026.
Backed by Backers will showcase 150+ crowdfunded titles, bringing together developers and publishers from around the world whose games were made possible through community support. The festival will feature a wide range of titles at various stages of development, alongside special discounts and demos on Steam.
Crytivo is currently inviting developers to submit their projects for consideration. Eligible games include:
- Successfully funded on Kickstarter or another crowdfunding platform and released on Steam
- Successfully funded and still in development (within two years of campaign or showing active progress)
- Upcoming crowdfunded projects with strong backing and momentum
As a curated event, submissions will be evaluated based on overall quality, development progress, and alignment with the festival’s theme. Selected titles will be featured as part of the official Backed by Backers Steam Festival lineup.
Submissions are open until April 3, 2026, with selected participants to be notified by April 7, 2026.
