Medieval Fantasy Round-Table RPG Sovereign Tower Announces Steam Demo with New Trailer Featuring Hildegard von Blingin’

Launching August 2026 on PC, the newest trailer for Wild Wits’ latest adventure showcases the new Bard character alongside “There Stands the Tower”, the brand new ballad from the Bardcore legend.

Rennes-based studio, WILD WITS, and publisher, Curve Games, have today revealed Bardcore legend Hildegard Von Blingin’ will be joining the eclectic cast from narrative-driven round-table RPG Sovereign Tower as The Bard. The allegorical ballad “There Stands the Tower”, penned just for the game, can also be heard in the newest trailer, granting another glimpse into the ardent adventure launching on PC in August 2026.

Following a successful sneak peek on itch.io, an extended version of the Sovereign Tower demo is now available to play on Steam, offering would-be monarchs the opportunity to sit upon the throne and cast their fair and just (probably) ruling over their subjects. With roughly 2-3 hours of gameplay on offer, the brand new Steam demo introduces new characters, stories, and the Demon feature that allows players to turn back time.

Gather round and pay heed to Hildegard von Blingin’ (The Bard):

Lying dormant in the Crypts of the Tower lies the Demon, granting players the ability to revisit past decisions made as monarch. Made a rash decision? Not happy with the outcome of a quest? Not to worry, just speak to this squeaky little ‘friend’ to receive another chance to right any wrongdoings. Those willing to meddle in the past will also unlock new “Omniscience” responses, providing more knowledge, pathways, and outcomes to explore. But beware, everything has a price.
