The Last of Us: Part II Media Event Announced for Later This Month

The last of Us: Part II is expected to be the biggest exclusive of PS4 and it is expected to arrive in Spring 2020 as was the case of the original The Last of Us. Sony released the game near the end of the PS3 era and then a remastered version was later released on PS4 which carried the amazing legacy to the next generation and it looks like that Naughty Dog is planning to do the same with The Last of Us: Part II.
After a long silence, Naughty Dog has finally announced a media event for The Last of Us: Part II which is slated for later this month. During this event, we are hoping to see more news about the game and most probably some more gameplay reveals as well. If you remember, a behind-the-curtains demo of the game was shown to some of the GameStop employees which we never got to see before however, that same demo might be coming for us now.
This was revealed by Geoff Keighley on how Twitter account where he shared details about the upcoming Media Event which is planned for September 24, 2019, in Los Angeles, California. We might even get a confirmed release date of the highly-anticipated title as well during the upcoming Media Event.
At this point, the rumored release date for The Last of Us: Part II is February 2020 as we earlier got to know that it was pushed into 2020 so that it will give a decent window to Death Stranding this year. Launching two of the biggest exclusives in the same timestamp will not bode well for both titles. We also know that the final scene of the game has been shot and it is now complete. It only makes sense that we now get to know the release date of the game. Sony also shut down the servers of Uncharted 3 and The Last of Us on PS3 earlier this month.
