The First Teaser For Pixar’s Italy-Set Feature ‘Luca’ is Released
After Soul,Pixar now brings Luca to the big screen. It’s Italy-set feature with seaside sun. Now, it’s released its first teaser. Now you can enjoy the summer Italian coast.
Luca is set in a beautiful town on the coast of Riviera, Italy. It tells the story of friendship between two boys, Luca and Alberto. They bound by a shared secret: they are both sea monsters. The trailer shows the fantastical realm and the sun-baked Italian village. It’s just like Call Me By Your Name for Kids! Here is the link for the trailer:
Including the story, it’s also the first feature directed by Enrico Casarosa, who has been Pixar story artist for a logn time. His title includes Ratatouille, Up, Coco, who also directed the studio’s Oscar-nominated short film La Luna. The new film draws on his own upbringing, as he revealed in a previous statement:
This is a deeply personal story for me, not only because it’s set on the Italian Riviera where I grew up, but because at the core of this film is a celebration of friendship. Childhood friendships often set the course of who we want to become and it is those bonds that are at the heart of our story in Luca. So in addition to the beauty and charm of the Italian seaside, our film will feature an unforgettable summer adventure that will fundamentally change Luca.
Luca is set to hit theaters on June 18, 2021; but it maybe possibleto be delayed or (more likely) rerouted to Disney+, as Soul was.
