SUPERPROD group continues their impressive expansion by appointing Virginie Créance as Senior Vice President for Animation

The rapid development of the Superprod Group persists. To centralize the organization and ensure the coordination of its numerous divisions in France and abroad, the group is delighted to announce on Jan. 26 the appointment of Virginie Créance as Senior Vice President for Animation. This pivotal change reflects the remarkable organic growth of the studio, which currently unites nearly 600 talents.

After commencing her professional journey with musical and digital project management first in New York then later in London at Microsoft, Virginie Créance advanced her career in animation by supervising series productions at Blue Spirit studio. She then moved on to become the Operations and Production Manager of SUPERPROD and its studios, expertly overseeing the production of all animation projects. Now, as Deputy General Manager, she

orchestrates operations for the entire Superprod Animation business network.

Virginie Créance comments: “I am tremendously grateful for the trust placed in me to succeed in this important creative mission. With the group’s rapid expansion, it is essential that all divisions and subsidiaries of Superprod Animation develop efficiently by focusing on their primary goal: premium animation production. My role will be to ensure proper coordination and development across all areas in order to facilitate the group’s perpetual growth.”

Virginie Créance’s intended objectives include managing operations, studios, and manufacturing centers in France, supervising the operations of the Group’s foreign subsidiaries in the animation field, and pursuing and closing business opportunities in France and abroad. She is also determined to expand the presence of human resources within the group: “I am particularly keen to strengthen the quality of our human resources and to ensure our numerous training, mentoring, and support initiatives flourish. The well-being of our employees and their professional development will remain one of our top priorities for 2022,” assures Virginie Créance.

The group recently commenced construction on a new 1600m2 animation studio in Angoulême (delivery scheduled for September 2022), only a few months after the successful acquisition of the renowned Red Monk studio in Milan

With 7 series and 2 feature films currently in production (animated and live-action), SUPERPROD is a major player in the content creation sector and aims to become a contender at the European and international level. Significant investments have been injected into the R&D department, granting the group the coveted ability to use state-of-the-art USD technology to produce its acclaimed animated projects, both for feature films and series.
