Peppa Pig to be Shot into a Film, Co-Produced by Alibaba Pictures and a British Studio
The film combines elements of traditional Chinese festivals with Peppa Pig, telling the story of the family of Tangyuan, Dumpling, their parents and grandparents gathering on New Year’s Eve and experiencing traditional customs.

The English Animation Peppa Pig will be shot into a giant film Peppa Pig Celebrating the Spring Festival. The project has been approved in China for co-production.
It is put on record jointly by Alibaba Pictures and Entertainment One, the British Company that produced the animation series. The registration record shows: The film combines elements of traditional Chinese festivals with Peppa Pig, telling the story of the family of Tangyuan, Dumpling, their parents and grandparents gathering on New Year’s Eve and experiencing traditional customs. Like Peggy and George, the family deepen their affections for each other, family members and the life every time they experience something together.
