MIRADOR LAUNCHES ON STEAM JULY 26!
Wednesday, July 24, 2019 — Montreal, Canada Montreal-based Sauropod Studio is proud to announce the official launch of its upcoming PC video game, Mirador, on Friday, July 26. Mirador is an online co-op hack-n-slash boss fighting game, set in a fantasy-filled universe, where all bosses encountered are created by rival players! Fight bosses, get loot, create your very own Sentinels and send them online, to fight and defeat other players around the clock. Setting to redefine both hack’n’slash and boss-rush genres, Mirador puts the emphasis on two distinct gameplay types: Souls-like boss fighting and complex boss creation.
Alone or with a friend, players will delve into mysterious portals, explore different environments and fight unique bosses, in order to obtain items, resources and patterns unknown, all while listening to a beautiful original soundtrack, created by veteran composers behind the music for titles such as Mordheim: City of the Damned, Outward, and Ultimate Chicken Horse.
Upon returning to their HQ, adventurers will then use these treasures to design and create their own bosses, called Sentinels, and send them online to fight against rival players around the clock. With each victory, these Sentinels will accumulate spoils for their owners to gather when they come back online. Mirador features unique boss fighting mechanics, akin to the Dark Souls series, expertly mixed with classic loot-filled hack’n’slash elements from Diablo and Path of Exile, all topped with a deep and complex boss creation system, where players can customize everything from the look, equipment, skills and even AI patterns of their very own powerful Sentinels.
Steam (PC — Windows) Launch Date: Friday, July 26, 2019 (10AM Eastern Time, GMT-5)
