Film Mode Entertainment Scares Up Berlin Premieres for Cosmic Dawn and They Crawl Beneath

Leading worldwide sales agent, production entity and distribution company continues to raise the genre bar with sci-fi, thriller and horror premieres, acquisitions and first-ever screenings during Berlin at EFM

Clay Epstein’s Film Mode Entertainment (FME) announces the first in a long line of Berlin and EFM premieres, new acquisitions and screenings with new sci-fi thriller COSMIC DAWN, starring Emmanuelle Chriqui (Entourage), Camille Rowe (The Deep House) and Joshua Burge (The Revenant, 20th Century Women) which was picked up by Good Deed Entertainment for a US release, and creature feature THEY CRAWL BENEATH starring Michael Pare (The Lincoln Lawyer, Gone) and Joseph Almani (Law of Attraction), which was picked up for US distribution by Well Go USA and is set for a 2022 release.

COSMIC DAWN

After witnessing the alien abduction of her mother as a child, Aurora (Camille Rowe) joins the UFO cult “The Cosmic Dawn”. Now moved on from the cult, Aurora is forced to confront her past and pursue the ultimate truth about The Cosmic Dawn. The soundtrack for the film features music by global superstars and multiple Grammy award-winning band MGMT. MGMT has also earned multiple additional awards from MTV, the VMAs, and more, was named “Top 10 Artists” by Rolling Stone Magazine and has collaborated with industry legends and leading musicians like Beck, Lou Reid, The Flaming Lips, Kid Cudi and The Avalanches. “The film will screen on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at 16.00 local time in the EFM Virtual Cinema and again on Thursday, February 10, 2022 at 11.10 local time also in the EFM Virtual Cinema. COSMIC DAWN was written and directed by Jefferson Moneo (Big Muddy). The film is produced by Jefferson Moneo, Joseph Raso, Mark Raso and Brian Robertson.

THEY CRAWL BENEATH

Danny (Joseph Almani) is a young cop working on his Uncle Bill’s (Michael Pare) classic vintage car on a secluded ranch when a major earthquake hits. Uncle Bill is crushed, and Danny becomes trapped under the car, The situation intensifies when something horrifying emerges out of the cracks in the ground that leaves Danny fighting for his life and his friends desperate to find him before it’s too late. THEY CRAWL BENEATH was directed by Dale Fabrigar. The film was produced by Suzanne DeLaurentiis, executive produced by Kevin Goetz and co-executive produced by Stephen Hornyak and Neil Goetz.
