Kakao Games Announces Global Publishing Partnership for Two New Ocean Drive Studio Titles

Kakao Games Europe to sign a publishing agreement with Ocean Drive, putting in marketing and localization support

|Kakao Games (CEO: Sang-Woo Han) announced recently that its European subsidiary has signed a global publishing agreement for two upcoming titles from its development subsidiary, Ocean Drive Studio (CEO: Hee-Jae Kim).

Kakao Games Europe, renowned for its successful service of games in the global market, will leverage its extensive service and operational experience to support the localization and marketing of Ocean Drive Studio’s upcoming titles: Lost Eidolons: Veil of the Witch and Section 13.

Ocean Drive Studio, recognized for delivering fresh gaming experiences on PC and console platforms, will be responsible for the overall development and operation of these new titles, ensuring they resonate with a global audience.

Lost Eidolons: Veil of the Witch builds upon the highly praised combat system of its predecessor, Lost Eidolons, while introducing a more immersive and enriched storyline. Unlike the original, this new title is being crafted as a turn-based RPG infused with roguelite elements, offering a fresh and dynamic gameplay experience.

On the other hand, Section 13 is a reinterpretation of the tactical co-op shooter Blackout Protocol as an action-packed roguelite shooter. Ocean Drive Studio has invested heavily in enhancing both the story and gameplay, dedicating substantial resources to develop this game under its new title.

Both Lost Eidolons: Veil of the Witch and Section 13 are gaining attention as premier indie games alongside the zombie survival title God Save Birmingham.
