NG23 Helsinki is for you

As a games startup or growing studio from the Nordic region – or across the globe – this fall’s Nordic Game event – NG23 Helsinki, the official games industry side event of Slush, the world’s leading startup festival – is absolutely not-to-be missed.

Nordic Game returns to the Finnish capital on 28-29 November to co-organise an Executive Summit for a select group of games industry leaders with Neogames Finland, as well as a coaching workshop with industry expert and mentor Patrick Rose, a game demo showcase, a live pitch stage & competition hosted by Xsolla Funding and a MeetToMatch Lounge, with loads of networking, partner and social activities – and much more – included in our intense, two-day program, just prior to Slush’s kick-off on 30 November.

“2023 has been a year of career upheaval for many tech professionals, including hundreds of established game developers,” says Nordic Game managing director, investor and former game developer Erik Robertson. “But it’s also become a period of incredible excitement, especially in the Nordic countries, as a record number of games startups and growing studios look to leverage their energy and experience, along with the latest development platforms and support services from trusted partners, to create and sell the next wave of hit games from the region and beyond.”

NG23 Helsinki is all about offering game startups and growing studios the very best chance possible, as 2023 comes to a close, to connect with investors, mentors and publishers, as well as some the industry’s leading tech and service providers, to polish their games, build key relationships, hone their business plans and more.

And for Nordic Game, it’s also an important opportunity to connect with and energise the game development community and industry-at-large as we look towards our flagship event – and twentieth anniversary celebration – next May. From two-full days of pre-conference Developer Showcase and Nordic Game Expo activities, as hundreds of game developers large and small take center-stage to meet investors, publishers and potential partners from around the world, to all of the amazing hosts, guests, program content and activities already in the works, can’t wait to share our exciting plans for NG24 Spring over the coming weeks and months.

As Erik Robertson says, “Nordic Game in May is your public beta – you’ll be among friends as you get ready to take the world by storm with your game!”
