3rd Annual Native American Feature Film Writer Lab
The LA Skins Fest, a Native American film festival, in partnership with Comcast NBCUniversal, The Walt Disney Studios, Topple, Cherokee Nation Film Office and Sony Pictures Entertainment announced they have selected 7 fellows for the 3rd Annual Native American Feature Film Writers Lab, a talent development program that aims to boost the careers of Native American writers. The Native American Feature Film Writers Lab was created to expand the number of Native Americans working behind the camera to
increase fair and accurate portrayals of Native Americans in film.

UMUT Arts Student Film Institute this summer! The institute is a permanent department in the tribe’s community that will offer new creative, educational and vocational opportunities for their youth!

We are partnering with Seven Generation Child & Family Services U.A.I.I and offering the Native Youth Virtual Multimedia Workshop for indigenous youth who reside in Los Angeles. The workshop ran from Aug 17th -21st and conclude with a virtual screening of the films in September.
