CCG Expo is coming!

China International Animation Game Expo (hereinafter referred to as CCG EXPO) is co-sponsored by the Ministry of Culture of the People’s Republic of China and the Shanghai Municipal People’s Government, Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Film and Television, Shanghai Oriental Media Group Co., Ltd. (SMG) and (Shanghai) National Animation Games. The comprehensive exhibition of animation and games, jointly organized by the Industrial Promotion Base, has been successfully held for seven sessions so far. In 2011, Shanghai Toonmax Exhibition Co.ltd., established by Shanghai Toomanx Communication Media Co., Ltd., SMG’s and International Animation and Game Development Center, Waigaoqiao, Shanghai, strength the brand of CCG EXPO. The organizer committee take advantages of various new media resources and targeted activities to achieve full impact coverage throughout the year. To grasp the momentum of the rapid development of the cultural industry, combine the national conditions and the characteristics of the animation and game industry to build a display, exchange and trading platform for domestic and foreign enterprises. While helping enterprises to become deeper, stronger, and bigger, they will also integrate various mitigation in the industrial chain, promote the healthy and sustainable development of the industry, and play a role as an instructor and leader in the rapid development of the national animation industry

The 15th China International Animation and Game Expo (CCG EXPO) will be held from July 4th to 8th at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center. The professional section will be held at the InterContinental Shanghai Expo from July 2nd to 4th. The organizing committee announced the highlights of the exhibition. This year’s exhibition hall will be expanded again. The exhibition area will be increased to 60,000 square meters. It will be divided into four major exhibition sections: Brand Enterprise Pavilion, Interactive Entertainment Pavilion, Trend Culture Exhibition and Boutique Activity Hall. Disney and Bilibili, Tencent vedio, China Literature, Shouwu, Heima comics, etc. have been confirmed. The exhibition will also bring together large-scale IP clusters, through the review of China’s animation industry, key exhibitors, etc., to let the audience get acknowledge of the unique Chinese animation styles such as ink and paper-cutting, and at the same time show the current animation products, “let the exhibition become the first window to an animation industry with Chinese characteristics”

As the only animation exhibition in China that has set up a screening unit, 100  will be participated in screenings of animations this year, and will enter the public libraries’ cultural centers and universities in Shanghai. “Life is like summer flowers” COSPLAY Global Classic, “Young Flower Age” dance contest, “Great British” dubbing contest and other veteran events have been launched during the exhibition.

For anime game fans, buying the relevant “products” is one of the most anticipated trips of the show, especially the limited edition. CCG EXPO has confirmed cooperation with Japan’s Bandai Nanmeng Palace and Shouwu. Bandai will launch the latest Gundam model at the show with limitation of 600 pcs; Japan’s Shouwu will launch a global limited-color version of the dead waiter with limitation of 500 pcs.

Marvel also confirmed cooperation with CCG EXPO. At the 2017 exhibition, Disney announced for the first time that the superhero created by four Chinese comic authors officially joined the “Marvel Comics Main Universe” news. This year, Marvel Comics has been established for 80 years. In addition to announce the latest news of Marvel’s Chinese heroes, the list of the first Chinese painters selected for the Marvel China Cartoon Talent Discovery will be released.
