The Blender team also released a planning for projects in 2020. Focus for this year will be on quality and finishing up projects that already started years ago.
This release has been made possible by the fantastic community of contributors and developers on blender.org. That’s including artists making demos, people submitting bug reports, and over 3700 individuals and companies who joined the Development Fund.
Thanks to this financial support, the Blender project can enable almost 20 people to contribute to Blender full-time now. An amazing milestone for free/open source 3D creation.
