In April 2026, the global mobile game market continued its fierce competition at the top. According to estimates from thirdparty data firms Appmagic and Appfigures Intelligence, Tencent’s Honor of Kings once again topped the global revenue chart, followed closely by several 4X strategy games and casual blockbusters.

Although this total was somewhat lower than March’s haul, analysts expect the market to pick back up as summer approaches and soon cross the “billiondollar” threshold.

Once again, China’s dominance was on display: Chinese publishers accounted for four of the top 10 spots on the App Store, and three of the top 10 overall across both stores (with Honor of Kings available only in China and Google Play not operating in the country).
