Hong Kong’s international science and technology innovation event
The 14th Five-Year Plan establishes Hong Kong as an international innovation and technology center and promotes the development of innovative science and technology. The first Hong Kong International Innovation Exhibition (InnoEX), jointly organized by the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council.
“Hong Kong International Innovation Exhibition 2023” gathers creative elites and more than 400 exhibitors from 7 countries and regions to promote the products and services of local entrepreneurs to all parts of the world, and provide a good platform for promoting regional exchanges and cross-industry cooperation.
The HKSAR Government and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council jointly planned the International Innovation and Business Week, and the first Hong Kong International Innovation Exhibition is its flagship event.
International and business week includes ta “Hong Kong spring electronics exhibition” and the government and digital port jointly “digital economy summit”, gathered more than 2000 Hong Kong, China, mainland China, Asia, Europe and America exhibitors a total of 19 countries and regions, plus the “2023 Hong Kong Web3 carnival”, reflect Hong Kong to become an international innovation center, also proved that Hong Kong as an international trade exhibition center leadership.
HKDC also invited 60 government officials responsible for promoting smart cities in Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam and the mainland to participate in the ASEAN Roundtable to share their experience of developing smart cities with Hong Kong SAR government representatives and exhibitors around the country.
The “Digital Economy Summit” brings together representatives of innovation, Web3, finance, professional services, environmental protection, trade, industry and academic sectors to deconstruct the future trends of smart city, data innovation, fintech, artificial intelligence and big data, and analyze the relevant global and regional development prospects.
The “Smart Hong Kong Pavilion” of the first Hong Kong International Innovation Exhibition covers six exhibition areas and displays more than 50 public service innovation technology solutions closely related to public life in 18 government departments.
The International Innovation Business Week gathered international exhibitors and buyers, local officials, famous science and technology experts, research institutions, opinion leaders, etc. They have in-depth exchanges on important issues of science and technology development, hoping to comprehensively promote cross-regional, cross-industry and cross-border cooperation opportunities.
