With its cutting-edge hardware and Microsoft’s gaming-optimized Windows 11 system, the Xbox Ally X quickly became the ideal handheld for PC gamers. However, Microsoft did not reveal its price at the announcement.

The ROG Xbox Ally X will have impulse triggers similar to what you will get with an official Xbox controller. This is not available on the lower end ROG Xbox Ally or the previous ROG Ally devices. mpulse triggers are small rumble motors in game controller triggers (like Xbox). They provide localized haptic feedback for immersion, example: gun recoil or tire slip, enhancing gameplay realism.

According to insider eXtas1s, the Xbox Ally X is rumored to be priced at a steep 900 euros (€899), while the base model Xbox Ally will cost 600 euros (€599). The insider was unsure about the U.S. pricing.

They also claimed that pre-orders for the Xbox Ally | X will open in August, with a release scheduled for late October.

Meanwhile, some international gamers have already spotted the Xbox Ally X’s U.S. pricing at Best Buy: $900 for the 1TB model and $1,000 for the 2TB version. It remains unclear whether these are placeholder prices.
