Wuthering Wave Celebrates One Year With LA Fan Event

Kuro Game celebrated the one-year anniversary of its free-to-play, open-world action RPG 鸣潮 at the end of last month with anniversary fan gatherings in Japan, South Korea, Mainland China, Taiwan and North America. The North America event was held in Los Angeles at The Majestic where 250 Rovers gathered to celebrate one year of Wuthering Wave.

2025 WUWA 1st Anniversary

The Majestic event featured players celebrating birthday memories for Rovers and Resonators, with a special portion of the evening dedicated to players who attended in cosplay. Those who dressed up participated in a showcase, where they were able to take the stage and show off their Wuthering Wave inspired creations. Cosplay participants included Male and Female Rover, Jinhsi, Changli, Xiangli Yao, Shorekeeper, Camellya, Carlotta, Roccia, Brant, Phoebe, Cantarella, Zani, Ciaccona, Cartethyia, and Fleurdelys. After the cosplay showcase fans were then taken on a musical journey featuring a live performance from the character, version EP and in-game OST, revisiting the music and scenes of memorable Resonator moments, and game events. Music was performed from Waking of a World, the 1.3 Shorekeeper EP, An Unfinished Song, the 1.3 Resonator Showcase | The Shorekeeper – The Beginning of Our Story BGM, 2.0 EP – Grand Feast Daydream, Dancing Through Fantasies, 2.0 Roccia EP – One, 2.1 Phoebe EP – Daisy Crown, 2.1 Brant EP – “The King of Wayward Souls (self proclaimed) (But Destined), 2.2 Cantarella EP – “Elusive Seas”, 2.3 Zani EP – “Off Work?”, and Wuthering Wave 1st Anniversary Commemorative EP | Everflow. Once the musical portion of the evening was over players were invited to feast on a wonderful buffet, and fans then got to enjoy the Live Challenge part of the event. With a Tactical Hologram Challenge, and a Speedrun Challenge. The event concluded with a picture-worthy moment in front of the one-year anniversary cake.

Wuthering Wave recently announced version 2.4 is coming soon, proving continued dedication to game development after one year. Players can learn what is to come in 2.4 by watching a livestream video that aired last Friday.
