The Survivalists: Review code now available

Pack your bags and get ready to fly with Team17, as The Survivalists is whisking youaway to a virtual desert island adventure ahead of the game’s launch on 9th October!

Before you go though you should know that it’s a secret trip for now, with an embargo of 1PM BST (5AM PST, 8AM EST, 2PM CEST) on 8th October for all review coverage (including video). You can publish any non-review coverage at any time before the embargo.

Steam: To access the game, you’ll need to join the Steam branch called ‘VIPaccess’, and the password to let you into this branch is ‘BarrelOfMonK3y5’.

• Play together and survive: Up to four players can join forces to explore the world of The Survivalists, helping each other out to stay alive
• Get crafty and be inventive: Various items great and small can be crafted, from weapons to tools and buildings to keep your crew sheltered
• Automate with monkeys: Enlist the help of monkeys for a number of tasks, including protecting your group and gathering resources
• Curiosity is rewarded: Players are encouraged to explore their surroundings, where they’ll encounter dangerous wildlife, mythical enemies, and tantalising secrets.
