Star Wars Expanding Ehrough Media From Spinoffs To Theme Parks
After expanding through media from spinoffs to theme parks under the auspices of Walt Disney, Star Wars is bringing that new content back into the films at the heart of its intellectual property strategy.
It’s also to celebrate the 20th anniversary.he Mandalorian and Grogu will be bringing Star Wars back to the big screen after 7 years, , and this movie from The Mandalorian franchise could also be bringing a major original trilogy character back along with it.
“The movies are where Star Wars started, and so I think that’s most important,” Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy told Nikkei. “Putting movies in the movie theaters is first and foremost what all of us are interested in. Everything else is equally important in some regard, because it’s a carryover from the movies that we make. But that’s the most important.”
Details about the actual movie itself are still sparse, but one evidence of this comes from a surprising source: Disney Parks.
