SIGGRAPH Announces 2025 Computer Animation Festival Prize Winners
The SIGGRAPH 2024 Computer Animation Festival has unveiled its prestigious prize winners, celebrating groundbreaking achievements in digital storytelling, visual effects, and animation. This year’s festival, held as part of the 51st SIGGRAPH Conference, showcased cutting-edge works from artists, studios, and researchers worldwide, highlighting innovation in computer graphics and interactive techniques.
Award-Winning Works
The jury recognized exceptional talent across multiple categories, including Best in Show, Best Student Project, Jury’s Choice, and Best Real-Time Graphics. Among the standout winners:
Best in Show: Trashby Maxime Crançon, Fanny Vecchie, Margaux Lutz, Romain Fleischer, Alexis Le Ral, Grégory Bouzid, Robin Delaporte, and Mattéo Durant with École Supérieure Des Métiers Artistiques (ESMA)– Praised for its technical brilliance and artistic vision, this piece captivated audiences with its [brief description of achievement].
Best Student Project: The Mooning,Mason Klesch and Vivian Osness with Ringling College of Art and Design – A remarkable student-produced animation demonstrating creativity and technical skill.

Celebrating Excellence in Animation
“These projects don’t just meet professional standards, they redefine them,” said Dawn Fidrick, SIGGRAPH 2025 Computer Animation Festival Director. “It’s inspiring to see student filmmakers leading the charge in both storytelling and innovation. This year’s winners reflect a global future of animation that is fearless, inventive, and deeply human.”
The festival also featured Electronic Theater and Daily Screenings, presenting curated selections of films, scientific visualizations, and motion graphics.
