Roguelike deckbuilder Serial World releases first public demo for Steam Deckbuilders Fest 2026

Former Level-5 developers Serial Project and publisher Kakehashi Games have officially released the first publicly-playable demo for Serial World in participation with Steam Deckbuilders Fest
Announced globally during the Gamescom Future Games Show 2025, the two-person developer duo behind upcoming roguelike deckbuilder Serial World have launched their first public demo for players to enjoy online in celebration of the Steam Deckbuilders Fest!
Set in a colorful, cartoonish world reminiscent of nostalgic RPG favorites, Serial World follows the young Milo as he investigates a series of mysterious disappearances happening across his home of Bricktown. In this energetic preview, players will explore a randomized dungeon alongside a beginner trio of Anima: Porcupint, Tanibo, and Reptibud, unusual creatures each boasting their own unique personalities and skillsets.

Mix-and-match tactics in satisfying turn-based combat as you build your battle deck, face foes, and search for the exit – and the answers you seek – in this roguelike deckbuilding adventure for all ages!
