The Marché du Film Online will recreate the market experience in Cannes offering creative alternatives to facilitate business and networking for film industry professionals from all over the world. The online market will take the shape of a closed industry space including:

Virtual booths

Sales companies will be able to connect with buyers and to display their new films and projects-in-progress in an online dedicated space serving as a digital equivalent to their booths in Cannes.

Online screenings

Completed films, promos and project presentations will be programmed according to set schedules in 15 virtual cinemas – screening schedules will be adapted to each time zone.

Virtual pavilions

Institutions from all over the world will present their film commissions, national cinematography and film locations, support their producers and organize meetings in a virtual space as if they were in their pavilion in the Village International.

Programs & Conferences

Producers Network, Goes to Cannes, Cannes Next, Cannes Docs, Cannes XR, Meet the Streamers, Frontières and Fantastic 7 will be reshaped to offer creators, producers and distributors the best opportunities to network and present projects.

Speed Meetings

Find your ideal business partner online through a series of curated speed-meetings dedicated to book adaptation, soundtracks, coproduction… Speed meeting sessions will be programmed to welcome participants from different time zones.

Top-notch technologies

Marchedufilm.online will be based on proven and reliable technologies: Cinando (Shift72) for online screenings with strict security measures – DRM, individual watermark and real-time monitoring of admissions – and Match&Meet (Talque) for video meetings.

Accreditations for the Marché du Film Online are open for industry professionals at an early bird rate of €95 until May 29 and €195 normal rate after that – including a one-year subscription to Cinando.

Industry professionals who had already registered for the Marché du Film in Cannes will receive in the coming days an email to opt for the Marché du Film Online and get a refund.
