POOLS Makes a Splash on PS5 and PSVR2 This November.
Demo Out Now.
The dreamlike depths of POOLS are about to open on a whole new platform.
Developer Tensori has announced that the surreal exploration game POOLS will arrive on PlayStation 5 and PS VR2 on November 25, 2025. For those eager to dip their toes early into the stillness, a free demo is now available to play on the PlayStation Store. Currently, the demo is a flatscreen experience. However, a PS VR2 update to the demo is coming in the near future.
POOLS invites players into a world of vast, deserted public swimming spaces and submerged corridors, blending haunting liminal architecture with the soothing and at times unsettling presence of emptiness. Is someone watching you? Are they there with you? Is this perhaps just a dream? You’re never quite sure.

Developed by Tensori, a team of four in Finland, POOLS became an unexpected phenomenon after its debut. It went on to win the “Best Creative Achievement of the Year” at the Finnish Game Awards, earned a 95% “Overwhelmingly Positive” rating on Steam, and allowed the developers at Tensori to turn their passion project into a sustainable studio.
PlayStation 5 players will be able to play the original POOLS game and the Chapter 0 expansion, both in flatscreen and on the PS VR2. The PS VR2 mode will also be available for free.
