PAY 2 WIN: The World is Mine launches into 1.0, and the numbers have escaped containment
Forge broken builds, chart the stars, and optimise your way into total managerial nonsense in this chaotic incremental strategy deckbuilder
Developer Patriots Division launched PAY 2 WIN on June 4: The World is Mine into 1.0 on Steam, inviting players to embrace the timeless fantasy of becoming a game studio CEO whose understanding of “balance” rapidly deteriorates over time.Part incremental strategy game, part roguelike combo machine, and part cautionary tale about scope creep, players must grow a struggling game studio into a globally dominating empire through careful planning, magical experimentation, and increasingly questionable optimization strategies.
At its core, PAY 2 WIN is about making numbers bigger, then making those numbers bigger, quadrupling them, then discovering a synergy interaction that causes the numbers to ascend into an even higher state of ridiculousness, times infinity.
Players build their studio across a grid-based office space, strategically placing facilities to activate buffs, combo chains, and output multipliers capable of turning a humble indie operation into an unstoppable productivity singularity.
The 1.0 release introduces two major new progression systems designed to push builds even further past the point of reason:The Forge: A powerful upgrade system that lets players enhance facilities, improve synergies, and somehow make their already broken builds even more deeply cursed
The Planetarium: A talent tree-style progression system allowing players to specialise into unique playstyles, double down on favourite strategies, or recklessly stack upgrades together just to “see what happens”
Whether players prefer chill passive idle progression or highly active, click-heavy optimisation, the game supports a wide variety of approaches. Some players will calmly manage efficient production chains, while others descend into full spreadsheet sorcery juggling cooldowns, buffs, debuffs, spells, and existential dread.
PAY 2 WIN: The World is Mine is available now on PC via Steam. Keep up to date on the game by checking out Patriots Division’s website, follow on X/Twitter, or jump into the official Discord.
