October’s Top-Grossing Mobile Games: Honor of Kings Returns to Top Spot, LastWar Sees Steady Growth

According to industry data statistics, the global mobile game revenue chart for October 2024 revealed a new competitive landscape following the cooling off of summer hype. It should be noted that these figures only include in-app purchase (IAP) revenue and exclude advertising income, web store spending, platform commissions, and revenue from China’s Android market.
Analysis of Top-Tier Revenue Trends
With the fading summer effect for Roblox, the revenue chart has returned to a normalized competition pattern—Tencent’s Honor of Kings reclaimed the top spot with monthly revenue of $134 million. This represents an increase of nearly $20 million compared to September, though it still falls short of the peak exceeding $180 million consistently seen in January and February.

LastWar continued its steady performance, generating approximately $125 million in October, broadly in line with its spring levels. After experiencing explosive growth in July with $150 million, the title has now returned to a stable growth trajectory.
Multiple Titles Enter Adjustment Phase
Although Roblox’s $121 million monthly revenue remains significantly higher than its regular pre-summer range of $100–110 million, it has noticeably declined from the summer peak of over $150 million. October revenue was essentially flat compared to September, indicating a slowdown in growth momentum.
Monopoly Go and Royal Match maintained stable revenues of $117 million and $106 million respectively, while Century Games’ Whiteout Survival saw a decline for the second consecutive month, dropping below the $100 million mark for the first time and falling to sixth place in the rankings.
Mixed Performance Among Core Contenders
Candy Crush Saga consistently held its position with around $80 million in revenue, while another hit from Century Games, Kingshot, continued its ascent, reaching a new record of $66 million in October.
Microfun’s Gossip Harbor broke the $60 million monthly revenue mark for the first time. However, the recovery momentum for Clash Royale may have peaked, with October revenue falling by nearly $10 million month-on-month to approximately $59 million. Despite this, it remains substantially higher than the pre-comeback level of around $13 million in the spring.
