Nordic Game Awards 2026: Final Nominations Revealed

Magnus Bruun to Host a Celebration of Nordic Game Development Excellence at NG26

The Nordic Game Awards (NGA 26) return for their annual celebration of the best games from the Nordic region. The awards ceremony will take place during NG26 on Thursday, 28 May at 19:00 CEST in the Main Theatre at Slagthuset in Malmö.

Now in its established role as the premier spotlight for Nordic game development excellence, the Nordic Game Awards highlight outstanding creativity, technical achievement, and innovation across the region. This year’s nominees represent the very best of 2025–2026 Nordic game development.

The winners will be revealed live during the Nordic Game Awards show on 28 May at NG26, hosted by acclaimed Danish actor Magnus Bruun. Known for his roles in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Call of Duty, The Last Kingdom and Black Mirror, Bruun will bring his signature viking charisma to the Main Theatre at Slagthuset in Malmö for an action-packed celebration of Nordic game development excellence.ABOUT NORDIC GAME
