Potential TV Animation Strike Averted as SAG-AFTRA and AMPTP Reach Deal
Both parties have reached a tentative agreement that covers all episodic platforms, including network TV, basic cable and streaming — the deal would hold through June 30, 2020. The union voted overwhelmingly to authorize a strike back in July, demanding scale wages and residuals for shows running on Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, etc. Terms of the deal (to be ratified by SAG-AFTRA) have not been disclosed.

Blink Ink continues its relationship with the iconic “virtual band” with this trancey new video directed by Gorillaz co-creator Jamie Hewlett and Nicos Livesey. The band was capture performing on greenscreen, which was supplemented with analogue FX mixers and mixed-media animation. The video was produced with Parisian animation house Eddy. The new album, The Now Now, is available now.
