New Director to ‘Hotel Transylvania 4’

Sony has moved up the release date for the fourth installment of Hotel Transylvania 4, while confirming that the upcoming movie will be directed by Derek Drymon And Jennifer Kluska.
Genndy Tartakovsky, who directed the first three films in studio’s most successful franchise, is on board to write the new film.
Drymon was a central figure in the success of Spongebob Squarepants, having worked with creator Stephen Hillenburg on developing the series from its earliest days, and performing a variety of tasks on the show including writing, producing, and creative direction. Other credits include executive producing the first season of Adventure Time and serving as head of story on Dreamworks’s Penguins of Madagascar feature.
Kluska was a story artist on the last two Hotel Transylvania and also worked as a story artist on Dreamworks’s How to Train Your Dragon and Bee Movie. More recently, she was supervising producer and director on Warner Bros. Animation’s DC Super Hero Girls.
Originally scheduled to release in December 2021, the release has been moved earlier to August 6, 2021.
Tartakovsky will executive produce the pic alongside Michelle Murdocca, and Selena Gomez, who voices Dracula’s daughter Mavis in the franchise. Alice Dewey Goldstone produces.
