Multiplayer game and live streaming gaming platform Noice shuts down

Finnish games livestreaming platform Noice is shutting up shop six years after it was founded.Company had raised $26 million in funding before new investment dried up.The company had aimed to blend together competitive and cooperative multiplayer gaming with livestreaming into one platform, but it faced stiff competition from the likes of Twitch in the space.
CEO Tuomas Rinta announced the closure to employees, citing challenging fundraising market conditions. He posted in LInkedin that “It wasn’t a surprise to anyone in the company, as we’ve been openly discussing the tough fundraising market we’re in, but of course we wanted to be hopeful until the end that we could deliver a positive outcome and our story would continue…I got to again be part of a fantastic startup team building truly incredible and ambitious stuff”.
““My journey at Noice is a shorter one than many others, who have been building this platform for over five years. Building something new, bold, different… We’ll be putting together a list of names and roles that people are looking for.
