Regarding the deal MSC founder Paul S.L Yates said: “We believe that our business is a by product of our creativity and that of those we represent. Integrity, creativity and passion are at the heart of everything we do. Who ever we work with, we want to be on a similar wave length as ourselves and we believe we have found a home with SPI. We are absolutely delighted to be working with someone as established and experienced as SPI and we hope this relationship will pave the way for much to come.”
The deal represents a major step forward for The Mise En Scène Company which was only formed last March during the first London lockdown and only officially launched its initial titles at AFM in November. The company shall be attending its second market digitally in March at the EFM which recently shifted to digital due to the pandemic.
The release strategy for MSCs slate is yet to be confirmed, but will potentially involve exclusive linear television channels, TVOD, SVOD and other mediums in the U.K , U.S.A, Canada and other territories. MSC is planning to launch TWO NEW TITLES and potentially a TV SERIES at the EFM in March, to be announced closer to the market date.
