Producers, broadcasters, distributors, investors, here is the perfect opportunity to discover the current best international projects and be the first to position yourself.

2020 Mifa Pitches: record registrations!

Among the 631 projects submitted, 38 have accessed the Official Selection. A cutting-edge selection, reflecting the current international creativity with a programme of projects from South Africa, Argentina, Canada, Chili, Denmark, Egypt, Estonia, France, Georgia, Hungary, Japan, Jordan, Lebanon, Madagascar, United Kingdom, and more.

More motivated than ever, project leaders will give their best via video! Attend their presentations on D-Day or on replay until 30th June.

Wednesday 17th June:

Feature Films 9:30-10:30 am,

Short Films 11 am-12:15 pm

Thursday 18th June:

TV Series & Specials 9:30-10:45 am,

Animation du Monde 11 am-12:15 pm

And to extend the meeting and networking you will be able to register for a scheduled meeting, after the first time the Pitches are broadcast.

Comics Mifa Pitches

New for 2020

For the first time ever, the Mifa is joining forces with the major comic book festivals to collect works, free of rights, so the graphic universe can influence future films!

Animation film producers look outside the box and imagine collaborations with the 5 selected works and pitch during the Annecy 2020 Online edition! See you on Tuesday 16th June, 9:30-10:00 am or on replay until 30th June.

This scheme is supported by Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Cinéma and Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Livre et Lecture.

Territory Focus Pitching

The territories support their talents!

Producers, broadcasters, distributors, investors: additional content for online Pitches to discover those 100% local gems.

More than 30 projects spread between 6 sessions, each one true to their territory.

They will be there: Latin America (La Liga), South East Asia (Southeast Asia Focus 2020), Japan, Canada, Russia and Africa.

The projects from South East Asia were selected as part of the International Mifa Campus, a support programme for talents led by the Mifa.
