May’s top 20 mobile game downloads
Mobilegamer.biz has released the global mobile game download ranking for May 2025.Appmagic’s estimates do not include numbers from China’s fractured Android market.

Block Blast has been the most downloaded game in the world for the previous six months, coming with Roblox and Subway Surfers.
Roblox has racked up about 20m monthly downloads for the last three months, and Subway Surfers is even more consistent – it has registered 15m-ish downloads for the last six months.

May’s top mobile game downloads: 11-20
- Merge Fellas (TapMen): 10.8m
- Brainzot Tip tap Challenge (TSACom): 10.6m

- Garena Delta Force (Garena): 9.6m

What deserves special attention is the strong rise of the two games:
“Paper.io 2” under Voodoo soared by 25 places compared with the previous period
The download growth rate of Garena’s new game “Operation Delta” continued to accelerate in the second month after its release

Meanwhile, three evergreen products rarely dropped out of the list:
Candy Crush Saga failed to make it into the top 20 for the first time in many years
“8 Ball Pool” and “PUBG Mobile” (the mobile version of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds) also failed to hold their positions
Market Observation: The casual game sector is undergoing a significant reshuffle, with traditional leading products facing the impact of emerging forces.
