Manimation 2019

Taking place in early days of the Manchester Animation Festival, Manimation is the UK animation community event focused solely on business development and longevity in the animation sector.

This year Manimation brings together more animation production companies, producers, animators, writers and creative service providers with potential buyers from broadcasters, advertisers, creative agencies, corporate, distribution and more in this friendly and open market setting.

At the event in November, Peter Lord, Co-founder of Aardman Animations and Sarah Muller, Head of BBC Children’s Acquisitions and Independent Animation at BBC Children’s will give their unique insights in two not-to-be-missed Keynote sessions.

As well as this, Manimationis designed to help facilitate connecting new clients with animation producers, and help animation freelancers find employment prospects in the industry.

Manimation will feature sessions on new routes to market and new sources of funding, and case studies in commercial animation work, alongside a one-to-one meetings market for those looking to develop business opportunities.

The day offers free refreshments, and an evening reception for networking to ensure attendees can meet everyone they need to, be it formally or informally.
