Mahokenshi brings a Major Content Update!

Publisher Iceberg Interactive and developer Game Source Studio proudly announce the update for Mahokenshi including save-states, DLC and a new expected feature: the Mission Editor. The update was launched on April 26th.
This update will include save-states, a DLC pack called “Mahokenshi – The Designer’s Guide” and the highlight: the Mission Editor, a tool to create your own maps and play the maps of others.

The DLC pack “Mahokenshi – The Designer’s Guide” has a handful of challenging maps functioning as a guide to show off the potential of the Mission Editor, helping creators to get started. The Mission Editor itself will give access to the Custom Missions menu. Here you can conveniently select to browse downloaded maps, or create your own, allowing players to shape their own maps. You can get as creative as you wish, one hex at a time, placing hordes of enemies, setting objectives, creating quests with rewards, and more. It’s an expansive tool directly derived from what the developers used to create the campaign.

After players are done and satisfied creating a map, they can simply upload it to the Steam workshop making it available for everyone. The community can download it and try it out via the in-game menus. Rating maps will be conveniently done via the workshop as well, giving players a clear way to filter based on their preferences.

From here on it’s up to the community to choose your adventure. Read comments, create missions, dive into 5-star rated maps from others, or be a pioneer and try the newly uploaded maps.
