LAUNCH OF AN UNPRECEDENTED ALLIANCE BETWEEN EUROPEAN FILM AND AUDIOVISUAL MARKETS
In an ever-changing European context, where global players are on the rise, strengthening the European film and audiovisual ecosystem will require stronger industry platforms to ensure the continued quality and competitiveness of our European culture and works.
As we look ahead to the future, the Film and Audiovisual Markets in Europe (F.A.M.E) are proud to mark a pivotal moment in the industry and announce a groundbreaking alliance of 24 European organisations that underscore the vital foundation upon which the entire film, television, virtual, and immersive ecosystem is built, from initial development and forging essential contacts to securing financing and reaching global audiences.
By strengthening partnerships and expanding access to resources, its 24 signatories seek to unify efforts in addressing multifaceted challenges, including technological advancements, economic shifts, and societal changes, but also to ensure that Europe remains a vibrant space where democracy thrives, allowing independent creation, diversity in storytelling, and smaller production countries to find their own unique creative voices.
The collective actions of this alliance promise to yield significant positive impacts, including increased investment in new projects, improved access to funding, and enhanced training opportunities for emerging talent to navigate the complexities of the market with confidence and innovation.
