Trends Among Top Performers

Honor of Kings saw significant volatility in its IAP revenue, surging from approximately $79 million in December to over $172 million in January, representing a sharp month-on-month increase. This achievement is close to the historical monthly peak for Tencent’s MOBA giant (set in October 2021 at $184 million).

Monopoly Go! (Scopely) returned to the $120 million+ range in January after hovering around the $100 million mark for several months. It also showed year-on-year growth compared to the $104 million recorded in January 2025.

Last War has experienced notable revenue fluctuations since November 2024. Its estimated revenue for January was $120 million, a decline from December’s substantial total of nearly $139 million.

Royal Match (Dream Games) saw a month-on-month rebound in January, reaching $109 million and surpassing the $100 million mark for the first time since October last year, following several months of gradual overall decline.

Roblox experienced an expected revenue drop in January, falling from around $125 million in December to $107 million last month—roughly the same level as in January 2025.

PUBG Mobile nearly doubled its IAP revenue month-on-month, rising four places in the rankings after posting $53 million in IAP revenue in December and nearly $103 million in January. This marks a significant recovery from the previous few months, during which it earned “only” $40–50 million. Approximately 80% of this revenue came from players in China.

Whiteout Survival maintained its revenue around the $100 million mark for another month but was overtaken by several other games on the rise. Meanwhile, Candy Crush Saga remained fairly stable, with its IAP revenue showing slight month-on-month growth for four consecutive months.

Gossip Harbor achieved another record high in IAP revenue, surpassing $80 million in monthly earnings for the first time. A similar trend was observed for the relatively new title King Shot, which continued to grow, albeit at a slower pace than Gossip Harbor, reaching nearly $72 million in IAP earnings in January—another all-time high.
