International Screen Institute Programmes 2026
The International Screen Institute (ISI) offers practice-oriented, hands-on training programmes for European and international film, TV and media professionals. Based in Vienna, ISI combines project-based mentoring, peer-to-peer exchange and international expertise, with a strong focus on business skills, professional development and future-oriented practices.
Applications are now open for the International Screen Institute Programmes 2026. The 2026 programmes include The Audience Design Lab, Business & Legal Affairs, Sustainability Management and Market Ready, as well as two new formats: Future Ready and the Hands-on A.I. Producers Lab.
All programmes are conducted in English and take place in person. An Early Bird application deadline with a reduced participation fee applies until 23 February 2026.
ISI at Berlinale 2026
During Berlinale, ISI will be present at the European Film Market with an information stand on the 2nd floor of the Gropius Bau. ISI can also be found at the Creative Europe MEDIA stand (Stand C2). Visitors are welcome to stop by and connect with the ISI team.

Moderated by Andrea Elisa Pisu, Chairwoman of ISI and Senior Legal Counsel at Terra Mater Studio (AT), the panel addresses the impact of AI on development, production and exploitation from a legal perspective.
Panelist and ISI Alum Georg Tiller (Subobscura Films, AT), whose film The Valley Where LOAB Lives premieres in Forum Special at the Berlinale, shares practical experience with AI-supported filmmaking. The discussion is joined by a copyright and IP expert from Unverzagt Lawyer (DE), offering insights into rights protection, liability and contractual implications.
