Industry experts discuss new trends in AI-driven creativity
The event centered on the core topic of “AI-Powered Creative Innovation,” and delved into the subject through two main segments: keynote speeches and roundtable discussions.

Ms. Teresa Cao, a representative of GDC, stated:

“Our collaboration with CGGE). revolves around Blender, aiming to establish the China Blender Developers Alliance. This initiative will attract enterprises, universities, and independent developers to join the open-source ecosystem, collectively advancing China’s creative industry toward high-quality development.”

Mr. Laurence Meng, CEO of Shenzhen Black House Creative (known for Nezha:Birth of the Demon Child), showcased cutting-edge animation technologies used in billion-dollar-grossing films. He emphasized that China’s animation evolution—from emulating Western styles to forging unique cultural identities—stems from a synergy of technological innovation, cultural confidence, and industrial upgrading.

Mr. Raymond Neoh  presented “AI Applications and Trends in Film & TV,” predicting that by 2030, China’s Global Computer Graphics Production Standard will lead the creative industry, fostering a borderless, collaborative ecosystem that amplifies diverse cultural voices.

During the panel discussion, Mr. Zou Qiong, GM and Co-founder of Rayvision, and other experts explored “AI’s Impact on Creative Industries,” addressing human-AI collaboration boundaries, ethical considerations, and industry restructuring. A consensus emerged:

“While AI accelerates industrial workflows, the irreplaceable core of creativity lies in artistic insight and emotional expression.”

Dual Signings Advance AI + Localized Creative Tools

In a landmark moment, GDC and Digital CGGE sealed two strategic agreements:

  1. GDC became an official co-organizer of IAICC 2025 and joined the BCOM China Blender Community, earning the title “Blender Creative Tech Enterprise.”

  2. The two parties established a “Blender+AI Joint Innovation Center” to develop localized tools for China’s animation sector.

IAICC 2025 & BCOM China Blender Community Officially Launched

Mr. Raymond Neho, Chairman of the International Digital Culture & Technology Alliance, announced that IAICC 2025 will take place in the Greater Bay Area from December 11–14, 2025, featuring three tracks:

Blender Theme Week Kicks Off

As an extension of the event, the “Blender Theme Week” launched on GDC’s first floor, offering hands-on workshops, case studies, and live demos to blend open-source tools with AI, empowering creators to embrace intelligent workflows.

CGGE noted this initiativeTaims to promote the deep integration of the open-source ecosystem with AI technology, lower the threshold for creation, and foster more local innovative forces.
