Guangzhou ‘HELLO AI’ Interactive and New Media Art Exhibition.

“HELLO AI” AI Interactive and New Media Art Exhibition debuted at TaiKoo Hui in Guangzhou and will be open until September 23, 2023. This exhibition features nine interactive art light installations titled “It’s not Rocket Science,” created by the Australian multimedia art team, ENESS. Alongside these installations, there are interactive games based on AI-generated content (AIGC) and various AI knowledge popularization initiatives. Together, they provide a unique exhibition experience that combines interactivity, science education, and art.
The opening day coincided with the traditional Chinese Qixi Festival, and TaiKoo Hui took the opportunity to prepare a special surprise for the public. The limited-edition pink lighting effects of the artistic installation, along with the innovative unveiling ceremony of the “HELLO AI, HELLO Love” Qixi-themed music festival, not only enhanced the audience’s sense of participation and interaction but also aligned with TaiKoo Hui’s original intention to create an exhibition that goes beyond mere observation. The aim is to provide the public with their “first intimate encounter” with AI, leading them to understand through knowledge, form personal opinions, and empower this moment with a more open and positive attitude.
The term “outer space scene” refers to the virtual technological world represented by AI, where dazzling art installations will serve as guides to the AI world. These installations, including the “hyperreal architecture master,” “dream merchant,” “music experimenter,” “trend artist,” and “art explorer,” will not only educate the public about AI but also lead them to participate in interactive games generated by real-time AI algorithms.
During the exhibition, Tai Koo Hui in Guangzhou will organize a series of public and member activities to deepen the understanding of AI and immerse people in the limitless possibilities of AI empowering humanity.
These mesmerizing art installations will transform into guides of the AI world, where the “hyperreal architecture master,” “dream merchant,” “music experimenter,” “trend artist,” and “art explorer” will not only educate the public about AI but also lead them to engage in interactive games generated by real-time AI algorithms. Through these activities, people can imagine a future Tai Koo Hui, such as designing the appearance of future Tai Koo Hui, opening a store in Tai Koo Hui, creating music inspired by culinary elements, designing personal fashion items, or even reinterpreting classical artworks. Through this interactive and enjoyable experience, the public will understand how AI can collaborate in the creative process and enrich their self-expression. They can also upload their AI interactive creations to the “Tai Koo Hui Online Art Gallery,” capturing precious moments empowered by AI and showcasing a collaborative and harmonious vision with AI.
